“Under The Moonlight” is a series exploring self-reflection and breaking free from the fear of judgment. The concept centers on a single light source illuminating characters, capturing their true expressions and poses as if revealed in solitude, away from scrutiny. Inspired by the moon—a solitary yet beautiful figure—I used a flashlight to emulate its glow, transforming it into a symbol of power and beauty that highlights the individuality of my subjects.
I wanted to celebrate imperfection, presenting my subjects in their purest state rather than concealing flaws. The white flashlight contrasts with the warm orange tones of the background, balancing the colors while evoking the calm, serene essence of moonlight. Each scene is set in quiet, uninhabited spaces with soft lighting, creating a tranquil atmosphere that emphasizes introspection and the beauty of stillness.
